Michael at Westminster
Michael usually travels down to London on Mondays and returns home to the Borders on Thursdays. In his new role as Secretary of State for Scotland, he is able to defend Scottish and Borders interests from the heart of Government. He is currently working on the Scotland Bill to strengthen and deepen the devolution settlement for Scotland. He has also ensured that Scotland receives a fair deal on the spending cuts and he is making representations to the Government for the Green Investment Bank to be located in Scotland. Michael also hosts visits from school groups and constituents to Westminster. If you would like to arrange such a visit, please telephone the constituency office. » View Gallery
